How does 3D printing work at 3dmarc?
A 3D printer that makes real objects. That sounds futuristic, but at 3DMarc it is everyday reality. With advanced printing technology, we bring digital designs to life, layer by layer, with unparalleled precision.
The printer works on the basis of a digital 3D model, which defines exactly what your object should look like. That model is broken down into wafer-thin layers, after which the printer builds up the object layer by layer with liquid material, such as PLA, PETG or resin. Each layer cures instantly, creating a strong, precise and durable end result, accurate to 0.001 mm.
3DMarc works with two professional printing systems, each with its own strengths.
This allows us to guarantee the optimal technique and choice of materials for each project, from functional prototype to visual show model.
- An SDM printer, for precision down to 0.01mm
- An SLA printer, which can print precisely to 0.001mm (smaller objects).
- Or ask about more options such as, SLS, MJF & MSL stainless steel 316 L printing.
Our specialists will be happy to advise you on:
-
Which printer and technology best suits your application;
-
Which material has the right strength or appearance;
-
and how we make your file print-ready for the best end result.
